SO YOU LIKE THE NEIGHBORHOOD

After a thrilling run at this years Tribeca Film Festival, I’m excited to announce that the short film I’m in, “So You Like the Neighborhood”, written and directed by the very talented Jean Pesce, and starring Tony Nominee Sarah Stiles (who is brilliantly funny in it by the way…) is the winner of the National Board of Review Student Award, and also has been shortlisted for the 2018 BAFTA Student Film Awards. It’s the Official Selection for the Indy Shorts /Heartland International Film Festival (which is an ACADEMY AWARD QUALIFIER!) as well as the Indie Street Film Festival in Red Bank, NJ.

When I was around eleven years old, I got into an argument with a teenager who lived across the street over something to do with stickball. As it got heated, he pushed me and I fell and banged my head. He really didn’t mean for it to happen.

How Are Actors Like Cranberry Sauce?

I had twenty-four people at my home this past Thanksgiving. As hard as everyone tried to communicate with each other to make sure no one doubled up on any side dishes or deserts, inevitably we ended up with three cranberry sauces. As the turkey was being served, and the side dishes were being passed, everyone began requesting the cranberry sauce.

Late to the Game

 I grew up in Brooklyn with my mother, father, and older brother. My two sisters were out of the house by the time I was born. One, the oldest, entered the convent right out of high school and became a Franciscan nun within the Roman Catholic church, the other, the second oldest, was already married.
